What you will need

  • Panel clips or brackets (or just screws)

  • Measuring tape

  • Saw (for trimming if needed)

  • Drill/screwdriver

  • Silicone (optional, for sealing to floor)

Step-by-Step Kickboard Installation

1. Measure & Cut

Measure each cabinet section and cut the kickboard to the required length using a suitable saw. Standard kickboard height is 140mm.

2. Position the Kickboard

Place the kickboard in front of the cabinet legs, ensuring it sits flush with the cabinet line and level to the floor.

3. Fix Into Place

Pre-assembled cabinets include plastic leg clips or brackets designed to secure the kickboard into position.

4. Seal the Bottom Edge (Optional)

Apply a neat bead of clear silicone along the floor edge to help prevent dirt, moisture, or water ingress underneath.

5. Final Check

Check all joins, edges, and alignment to ensure a clean and professional finish.
